From the opening tip of the season, the University of Tennessee Women’s Basketball team looked like they were going to be a force to be reckoned with in the SEC, but a couple of untimely conference losses set them back in the conference standings.  The Lady Vols (23-6, 11-5) jumped out to an impressive 15-0 to start the season, but due to their 5 conference losses they finished the season in a 4-way tie for 4th place in the SEC and earned a 7 seed for the tournament.
