The DICK'S Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup, hosted by the Nashville Sports Council and The Golf Club of Tennessee, prepared to kick off its annual tournament today welcoming all teams to the course for the practice round. One of the only events of its kind in the country, this unique, multi-day collegiate golf competition will pit top ACC and SEC teams against each other for a 54-hole team and individual stroke play event, followed by an 18-hole match-play conference finale, pitting the teams in each conference against each other to play for the Top Conference honors.

On June 25th, 2015, scratch golfers and hackers alike ventured out to Nashville’s beautiful Gaylord Springs Golf Links, located adjacent to Gaylord Opryland Hotel. We had hot weather for both flights with temperatures rising above some golfers’ typical scores. However, the format was a scramble with a double bogey max, so luckily, nobody shot the temperature.
The 2014 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl proved to be record breaking. Ten total records were broken in today's game. Take a look at which records were shattered here today:
