NSC Young Professionals Network Pub Crawl

Thursday night, the Nashville Sports Council Young Professionals Network hosted their annual pub crawl sponsored by Broadway Entertainment. Young Professionals from all career fields gathered for food, drinks, and fun. The pub crawl started at Legends Corner, continued onto Second Fiddle, and made its final stop at The Stage. Broadway Entertainment has been a member of the Sports Council since 2001, and this is their second year sponsoring the pub crawl.

Volunteer of the Year

Today we recognized Walter Clark, a volunteer who has been involved with our organization for nearly 16 years! Walter first volunteered for the Country Music Marathon, directing people as they exited the bottom of the escalator at the old convention center. After hours of yelling over the noise as hundreds of people came through, he had no voice for two days and almost didn’t come back! Fast forward 16 years later and the Marathon is his favorite event to work. He enjoys getting to interact with people from all over the state, country, and even the world.

2015 Young Professionals Second Harvest Event

As people started to show up almost 30 minutes early, it was already clear that there would be a decent crowd at the Nashville Sports Council Young Professionals Event at Second Harvest Food Bank.  Second Harvest Food Bank works to gather and distribute food to those in need, including low income senior citizens, at-risk after school programs, and churches who distribute it to those in need in their respective communities.
